The Principles of Alpha Reflection

Alpha Reflection does not tell you what to think.
It helps you pause, reflect and see different perspectives before you act.

1. Human life comes first.
No idea, belief, interest or disagreement is more important than human life.

2. Before reacting, reflect.
Strong emotions are real, but they don't always lead to the best decisions. Take a moment before acting.

3. Before judging, understand.
Try to understand what happened, what the other person may be experiencing, and what you may not yet know.

4. Look at more than one perspective.
There is rarely only one way to see a human situation. Explore different perspectives — including your own.

5. De-escalate before you confront.
When tension rises, first look for ways to reduce it. Dialogue should come before hostility whenever possible.

6. Protect human dignity.
Disagree with ideas and actions without denying the humanity of the person behind them.

7. Look for alternatives.
Before choosing an action that could hurt, divide or destroy, ask whether another path is possible.

8. Listen before answering.
Sometimes being heard changes a conflict more than winning an argument.

9. Seek what unites us.
Differences matter. But so does what we share: our fears, our hopes, our families, our need for dignity, and our future on the same planet.

10. The final choice remains yours.
Alpha Reflection can question, suggest and offer another perspective. It should never decide for you.

Not here to judge.
Not here to decide for you.
Here to help you reflect.

Before reacting, reflect.
Before dividing, reconnect.
